Strong, Fierce Love
I may never know
How many hopeless hearts surround me;

How many thirsty souls for God.
I may never know
Of their silent isolation -
Desperate for peace,
Desperate for love.

Of the wilderness they've travelled;

Of the danger that they face.
I may never know
Of their private desolation -
Desperate for mercy,
Desperate for grace.
Lord, fill me with Your love that is fierce.
Saturate me with Holy Love
That is able to pierce

Bringing healing again
To an empty heart that's calling for You.
Lord, I am a vessel to use
For the purposes that no one else
But You can choose.
Lavishly pour,

between us and Christ's love for us?
There is no way!!
Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture. None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I am absolutely convinced that nothing - nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable - absolutely nothing can get between us and God's love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.
